About Tony D’Avino
Founder, The Performance Collaborative
I’m Tony D’Avino, and I’ve spent my career leading teams, growing businesses, and figuring out what really drives performance. I was promoted to my first people manager job at 30 years old, responsible for the performance of a global advertising sales team of 10.
Without any formal training, I pursued self-development to increase my effectiveness as a leader. It’s a journey I continued throughout my career as I transitioned from a senior executive to a solopreneur.
I believe, as Robert Hogan puts it, that leadership is best measured by team performance—not individual traits.
“The most important leadership quality is the ability to build and maintain a high-functioning team. You judge a leader not by their individual traits, but by the performance of their team.”
—Robert Hogan
By using powerful tools that increase self-awareness, team insight, and organizational clarity, we guide leaders to unlock untapped potential—both in themselves and their teams.
Awareness is the first step. High-Performance is the result.
