About The Performance Collaborative
Tony D’Avino is the founder of The Performance Collaborative (TPC), a performance facilitation practice that helps leaders and teams improve the conditions that shape how people show up, collaborate, and execute. With 35+ years of experience leading teams across media, events, and service businesses, Tony brings a practical, operator’s lens to people performance and the lived experience of work. He combines proven assessment tools with clear, actionable facilitation—helping organizations build self-awareness, reduce friction, and strengthen results over time. Tony previously held executive leadership roles across multiple business media companies over several decades, leading teams that served dozens of industries—including beauty and wellness, hotels and hospitality, manufacturing, and agriculture. Across every market, he saw the same challenge: organizations can measure nearly everything—except the people-side of performance. That insight now anchors The Performance Collaborative’s work: making the conditions that shape performance visible, measurable, and improvable.

About our team
Yes, we’re a family team. And yes — that actually matters. Because the way we work is personal: we care about doing this well, we talk things through, we don’t hide behind big-firm process, and we treat people like people (not “resources”). We bring different strengths to the same goal: making performance clearer, healthier, and more sustainable — without turning it into a program no one has time for.
Tony D'Avino
Founder
Tony’s the steady hand. He’s spent decades around leaders, teams, and organizations — and he’s learned that performance rarely improves because someone tried harder. It improves when what’s getting in the way becomes visible. He leads the work with calm, clarity, and a practical point of view.
Paige D'Avino
Recruiting Partner
Paige is the sharp lens. She’s great at spotting fit — not just on paper, but in the real world of pace, pressure, communication, and culture. She brings data rigor, intuition, and a refreshingly authentic approach to hiring decisions.
Courtney D'Avino
Asessment Coordinator
Courtney is the experience architect. She makes sure the entire assessment process feels smooth, clear, and genuinely useful — not complicated for the sake of “professionalism.” She’s the one who keeps communication flow timely and accurate.
The Performance Collaborative is part of the Six Seconds community of changemakers contributing to a world of insight, connection, and purpose.

1
Our Specialty:
The people-side of performance
Our focus is on the human element of performance. It is our people and how they work together that make an organization great.
2
Our Guiding Principal:
Leadership is action, not a position.
Awareness and responsibility are foundational to performance improvement. While we offer fresh insights to illuminate the path toward optimal performance, the true responsibility for change rests within the individual leader.
3
Our Approach :
Minimum Effective Dose (MED)
In pharmacology, the Minimum Effective Dose (MED) is defined simply as the smallest dose required to achieve a desired outcome. We apply that same thinking to our work with clients. Anything more is wasted investment and may in fact create complexity and deter progress.
