About

Most organizations know how to measure performance. Few understand what creates it.

That’s the question that has shaped my career.

That’s the question that has shaped my career.

For more than 35 years, I’ve worked with leaders across dozens of industries. Throughout that time, I’ve watched organizations invest heavily in hiring, leadership development, performance management, and employee engagement.

Yet one challenge remains remarkably consistent.

Leaders are expected to make critical people decisions with surprisingly little insight into what actually drives exceptional performance.

Artificial intelligence is accelerating that challenge.

As work evolves, technical skills become obsolete more quickly, roles change faster than job descriptions can keep pace, and competitive advantage increasingly depends on human capabilities that are difficult to see—but impossible to ignore.

That realization led to the creation of Performance Intelligence™.

That realization led to the creation of Performance Intelligence™.

Performance Intelligence™ is built on a simple belief:

Performance isn’t a trait.

Performance isn’t a trait.

Performance isn’t a trait.

It’s an outcome created when human potential meets the demands of the role.

It’s an outcome created when human potential meets the demands of the role.

It’s an outcome created when human potential meets the demands of the role.

Rather than beginning with résumés, competencies, or performance reviews, I believe organizations should first understand what exceptional performance actually requires. Only then can leaders make more informed decisions about hiring, development, succession, and retention. The Performance Collaborative was created to help organizations make those decisions with greater clarity and confidence.

My Perspective

My Perspective

I don’t believe organizations have a talent shortage. I believe they have an insight shortage. Most organizations can describe a role. Few can define the thinking, decision-making, adaptability, and motivation that distinguish exceptional performance in that role. Making those invisible drivers visible is the work of The Performance Collaborative.

Experience

Experience

My work brings together decades of executive leadership, business strategy, leadership development, and performance assessment. I am certified in the Six Seconds Brain Profile, Team Vital Signs, Hogan 360, Predictive Index, TTI Success Insights, and the Inner Game Methodology. These frameworks inform my work, but they are not the work itself. My role is to provide leaders with better insight—so they can make better decisions.

Looking Forward

Looking Forward

The future of work won’t be defined by AI alone. It will be defined by organizations that understand the uniquely human capabilities AI cannot replace. The leaders who succeed won’t simply collect more data. They’ll ask better questions. That’s where Performance Intelligence™ begins.
